Activity: Design Your Own Rug
When nomadic people travelled, the men would hunt and women would spin sheep and goat’s wool into yarn. This yarn was woven into cloth to makes clothes and tents, carpets and rugs.
Rugs are especially used for prayer in Muslim culture. Each person has their own individual prayer rug.
